Boston pays $2.6M to Black police officers who alleged racial bias in hair tests for drug use

The city of Boston has paid $2.6 million to several Black police officers to settle a discrimination lawsuit over a hair test for drug use.
The officers sued the city in 2005, claiming that the hair test was racially biased and resulted in false positives for Black officers.
